Refund policy

Returns

For orders within  the EU there is a statutory "cooling off " period of 14 days. That means any goods purchased on our site and sent within the EU can be returned within 14 days OF THE GOODS BEING RECEIVED and the card holder refunded less shipping fees if applicable. Goods must be in a re saleable condition with all tags and labels on them.


To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging labels attached.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, such as a packing slip or an order number to be included.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

We can't get it right 100% of the time, but we endeavour to achieve the best customer satisfaction possible. It does happen once in a while there may be a fault in a garment such as a tear or hole, if possible please email us a photo of such a fault and if it is within 28 days of purchase we will review for a full refund of the purchase and shipping cost.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

If you wish to exchange an item for something  else if (for example you choose the wrong size) within 30 days of purchase please email us at info@designsofireland.ie with a note and order confirmation. Return postage must be covered by the customer as well as postage of the new item.



If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to Designs of Ireland, 2 Cross Street Lower , Galway Ireland 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Returning Goods from Non-EU Countries NB UK returns

PLEASE NOTE NON-EU RETURNS to Ireland may be liable for duty/taxes upon their return and the customer is liable for these duties owing which must be paid before we can receive the return for items over €40.

If you are shipping an item back to us, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if it is not registered.
